Day 1: Lock, Prompt, Load
The domain is secured: promptandload.com, registered 16:53 WIB, October 17th, 2026. Day 1 starts now.
Getting here took longer than it should have, because naming things is the real final boss. The shortlist that didn’t make it:
- alignmentissues.com — great pun, until I pulled the actual search results. Page one for “alignment issues” belongs entirely to car mechanics. The blog would’ve been a wheel-alignment clinic.
- skillissue.com, trainingarc.com, promptandload’s drill-cousins — all squatted. I swept 27 “drill” domains; 21 were taken. Squatters are faster than I am.
- Anything with Cortana in it — Microsoft’s registered trademark. Tempting, UDRP-shaped, off the table.
Then prompt and load landed: lock and load with one word swapped, same rhythm, and it works twice — the military-cadence joke and the literal act of writing a prompt and loading it into context. Available, clean, uncontested.
What this blog is#
The journey of setting up, training, and working with Cortana and AI — the actual logs, not the highlight reel:
- Logs — daily entries from the training ground
- Loadouts — the models, tools, and configs that run this operation
- Fired — failures, with receipts
- Reloaded — the retries that finally worked
Everything runs from one machine, behind one tunnel, architectured by the AI whose homework this all is. If that sounds like a bad idea, you’re reading the right blog.
Lock. Prompt. Load.
